Meet ADEWALE GP

GP(God's Purpose) also known as Adewale Joseph, DJ Wales, Coachie, Lecturer etc. was a one-time underground hardcore secular rapper before becoming an inspirational and gospel emcee (lyricist) and poet who is into teaching & music ministry.

GP, who trained as a mathematics and computer basics instructor, got caught up with the hip-hop and rap music genre by accident and has never looked back ever since. He was influenced and fell in love with it as a kid, and now that he is living his dream, making this music, he is ashamed and embarrassed about what rap music has become but doesn't have the power to change it.

However, by God's Grace, with his street credibility, clean rap versatility, and strength in his character, he currently uses his rap songs and projects as a medium of reaching, teaching and inspiring people, consciously and constantly using positive & uplifting messages. As our present Joshua's generation kingdom soldier, he has so far released some Singles, EPs, Mix tapes; both solos and collaborations with other artists as well.

GP is a graduate of the National Teachers Institute, Kaduna, and he is a Nigerian Certified Mathematics Tutor, but with more attention on his music ministry, whenever he ministers in churches, campuses, conferences, meetings and seminars across the country, he is always empowered with the grace of motivating people musically and, once in a while, GP enjoys writing, creating or producing his kind of beats for his next musical projects. He seldom plays football and scrabble game as well.

As the founder, pioneer and coordinator of (KWAT): "Kids with Amazing Touch", a platform for teaching and engaging preteen children with inspiring hip hop rap music, poetry and occasionally dance.

GP sometimes also plays the roles of a compere (MC) and life coach. He is an ardent lover of God and cherishes best behaviours as well as good music so much, reason why he uses it within his ministry to reach and converse with many youths. He plans to use his heart for music and other means to see the young at heart living out their full purpose of existence in terms of using their gifts, talents and abilities rightfully while living in a perverse society.

GP can be reached and followed up on: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, Youtube: (@adewale_gp) and meetdaspectacular@gmail.com
